The clavichord is a stringed keyboard instrument that was in use during the XVI, XVII and XVIII centuries, known as the grandfather of the piano.

 

 

Since I had the chance to play a XVIII century replica I dreamed of owning a clavichord. Unfortunately I could not afford it, so it drove me to build this own design inspired in the late XVIII century clavichords.
